The State of The Union What does it stand for? This address that seeks to embolden a nation, With the rhetoric of a man holding power. What does it stand for? In a world full of terrorists, It's the issue a president will address; Claiming the greater good of it's nation. Perhaps, I'm crass as a foreigner, To look in, and see firsthand, The almighty stand America has taken, With it's pathway to preemptive strikes. The lessons I am learning, Is to see a nation which is so concerned with others And the business of foreign governments; It now attempts to tell them right from wrong! So, should it be any significance to anyone For a state as arrogant to suggest: We have the solution to the blunders of another state? Even though, our own backyard has now been forsaken. For the lessons I have learned, Is similar to a wheat's endo-sperm. In how to crack this presidents stand wide open. Because when you look at the speech: It symbolizes an attempt for outer reach. With desires to influence the world, In a very judgmental fashion. The State of The Union
